Founder
Lee Ann Jung, PhD
Lee Ann Jung is the founder of Lead Inclusion and Professor of Practice at San Diego State University. She has authored ten books and numerous articles on inclusive education. A former special education teacher, administrator, professor, and researcher, she brings deep expertise in neurodiversity and high-impact teaching practices. Lee Ann has worked with public and independent schools in more than 35 countries. Her specialty lies in the messy, meaningful work of translating research into sustainable implementation across diverse school settings.

Johanna Cena, DEd
Johanna co-designed and leads our Integrated MTSS course. She is the Director of Teaching and Learning at the American School of Barcelona. A former elementary principal, ELL program director, classroom teacher, instructional coach, and staff developer, she brings expertise in multilingual learning, reading interventions, culturally relevant teaching, and inclusive leadership. Johanna supports schools in designing systems that elevate equity, strengthen practice, and ensure meaningful learning for all.

Abigail Love, PhD
Abbey teaches our courses on Leading a High-Impact Instructional Strategies. She is an autism expert who is dedicated to numerous initiatives in translating educational research to practice. Her research focuses on motivation and self-efficacy beliefs of professionals who work with students with disabilities. She is the founder of PACT: Police Autism Community Training, and has worked internationally as a K-12 teacher and university preservice teacher instructor.

Anita Churchville, MSEd
Anita created and teaches the high ability/gifted and talented course. She is an educational consultant and founder of the HAGT Learners Collaborative. She has a long history of coordinating High Ability and Gifted Programs in international schools. She also has worked as a program specialist in the Los Angeles Unified School District in California, supporting 16 schools. She has a master's degree in special and gifted education and certification as an educational diagnostician.

Sam Passeport, EdD
Sam designed and leads one of our courses on Coaching and Consultation. She is an Education Consultant/Founder of No Borders Learning, which supports Secondary Schools and Higher Education Institutions with Feedback Literacies. She is an Instructional Designer at Tilburg University in the Netherlands. Sam promotes a relational and critical approach to coaching and dialogic feedback, creating space for connections and dialogues between students and teachers.

Kristen Missall, PhD
Kristen co-created and teaches the MTSS course and conducts professional learning with Lead Inclusion. She is Professor in the College of Education at the University of Washington in Seattle. She specializes in school readiness and adjustment, early literacy and mathematics development, and data-based decision making in MTSS models. Kristen serves as Associate Editor of the Journal of Early Intervention and on the Editorial Board of Journal of School Psychology.

Sarah is the main point of contact for schools and organizations working with us. With a degree in Interdisciplinary Early Childhood Education, she brings a deep understanding of inclusive schooling. Sarah manages communication, scheduling, and accounts to ensure a seamless experience for partners working with Lead Inclusion.
